Of the various horror comic books that have eventually seen the big screen, it looks like we can add a Paradise Court movie to the list of such film adaptations. Originally published by Zenescope Entertainment by author Joe Brusha, Paradise Court is being adapted by Sony’s Screen Gems and produced by Assemble Media
As reported by Deadline, here are the details of the project:
Created by Zenescope’s CEO Joe Brusha, Paradise Court takes its name from a luxurious and exclusive gated community where beneath an idyllic façade lies a deadly secret — all the residents are serial killers with unique proclivities and manicured lawns cut as sharp as the knives in their kitchens.
Paradise Court had a 5-issue comic book run in 2018.
Jack Heller will produce the Paradise Court movie alongside Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen, Joe Brusha, and Ralph Tedesco.
