Director Ti West’s upcoming film MaXXXine, which is a sequel to his movies Pearl and X, has been in production for about three weeks. And we have our first look at Mia Goth’s Maxxxine in the upcoming movie.
MaXXXine‘s Mia Goth is reprising her role as Maxine Minx, a burlesque performer and adult film actress aiming to become a star. In the movie, set in 1980s Los Angeles, Maxine is the only survivor of the events of X and is determined to make it big as an actress.
A24, the production and distribution company, recently released the above first image from the film on social media featuring Goth and singer Halsey. Along with Halsey and Mia Goth, Maxxxine other cast members include Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, and Giancarlo Esposito. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Esposito will play an agent for adult film actors and Z-list movie actors, Debicki will portray a film director, Monaghan and Cannavale will play LAPD detectives, while Bacon will be seen as a private detective.
