Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)

Synopsis

The movie Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) continues the franchise slasher series with the hockey-masked killer Jason Voorhees returning to murder a new group of victims.

Picking up after the events of Friday the 13th Part 3, Jason Voorhees escapes death once again and makes his way to a nearby campground called Crystal Lake. A group of friends renting a house nearby become the targets of his murderous rampage.

The movie Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) follows young Tommy Jarvis who is obsessed with make-up effects living next to the renters. One by one, Jason brutally kills the group of friends, including a pair of promiscuous teens and a shy computer nerd.

With the body count rising, Tommy and his sister Trish are left to battle Jason. After narrowly escaping death, Tommy manages to distract Jason long enough for Trish to hack at him with a machete, seemingly killing him.

Despite its title, the movie Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) did not end the lucrative franchise, with Jason returning as the iconic hockey-masked slasher in many later sequels.
