The movie Revenge in the House of Usher (1983) is a horror film inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s classic tale “The Fall of the House of Usher”.
A young doctor visits the secluded mansion of his ailing mentor, Eric Usher. Usher believes the cursed house itself is alive and trying to drive him mad through ghostly visions and supernatural events.
As the skeptical young doctor settles in, he begins experiencing the seemingly haunted happenings Usher described. Phantoms and strange noises torment the two men, suggesting an evil force inhabits the sentient dwelling.
