Synopsis

The movie The Gift (2000) follows Annie Wilson, a widow blessed with extrasensory gifts, living in a small Georgian town. When local woman Jessica King disappears, Annie has disturbing visions that help the police search. Suspicion falls on abusive husband Donnie Barksdale.

Annie’s friend Valerie is skeptical about her abilities. However, further visions reveal crucial clues, implicating Donnie. As Annie connects with Jessica’s spirit, Donnie grows increasingly violent, lashing out against Annie. His abuse ultimately provides the evidence needed to convict him of Jessica’s murder.
