Synopsis
The movie The Haunting of Morella (1990) is an erotic horror film directed by Jim Wynorski, starring David McCallum, Nicole Eggert, and Lana Clarkson. It follows a demonic witch who possesses her daughter in order to be reborn.
The movie The Haunting of Morella (1990) opens with the execution of a witch named Morella in the 18th century. In present day, Morella’s daughter Lenora visits the ruins of her late mother’s estate and becomes possessed by her vengeful spirit. Morella uses Lenora’s body to seduce men and consume their souls in order to grow stronger.
Morella’s widowed husband physician, Dr. Marlowe, realizes his daughter is under a spell. With the help of his assistant, he works to exorcise Morella’s spirit from Lenora. Morella fights to maintain her hold on her daughter, causing deaths and erotic mayhem along the way. After a final occult ritual, Marlowe succeeds in freeing Lenora and destroying Morella for good.
