Cineverse has recently acquired exclusive North American rights to the upcoming Australian horror movie Subject. The official trailer for the film has been shared this week by Dread Central.
Subject, directed by the acclaimed Tristan Barr (known for Good Times), follows the journey of a man caught up in a sinister government experiment. While en route to prison, Willem is offered a fascinating proposition: participate in a shadowy government experiment and have his sentence reduced.
Unbeknownst to him, his isolation experiment may not be as straightforward as it appears, casting doubt on his perceived solitude and raising questions about his true state of isolation.
Subject is set to make its debut on Screambox, Cineverse’s horror streaming platform. It will be presented as a SCREAMBOX Original.
Before its streaming release on August 22, the movie Subject will have its North American premiere during the virtual segment of the Chattanooga Film Festival, scheduled from June 23-29, 2023.
